    *blinks* Honey, this is one of those things that you need to figure out by yourself. There is no “this is how you do it” guide to dating. Just don’t be a moron and you should go through it just fine.

    Christian Dating Guide;

    Don’t look.
    Don’t touch.
    Don’t think about it.
    Or go to Hell.

    Okay, for one, there are a few guideline. But the one thing that is the best is that you shouldn’t date. God has a divine plan for all of our lives and He has that one special person that He wants us to save ourselves for. Read Philippians 4:8. It talks about being pure and how to live a good life. The bible also talks about how a man shouldn’t touch a woman. Just think about it. Wouldn’t you like to get married to someone who has never been with another person? Talk to God and get the answer. And two: that person up there has no right to say that you will go to hell if you date. The only way you go to hell is if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ! :D

    Lenora, the answer is yes. My church offers what we call ‘meet and greet’ parties 4 out of 7 days. The normal hours are from 7pm to 1pm and Deacons of the church take turns in supervising events. We provide a spread of non-alcoholic beverages along with all kinds of munchies. The mature segment starts at around 18 y/o and older! The people who come usually look forward to the ice breakers we have like playing games - Catch Phrase, Mad Gab, Cranium, and so many others I have lost count. The dress code is simple - please come in something other than your birthday suit = naked to the young generation reading this. We ask that you check foul/slang language at the door and trouble makers will not be tolerated. We have actually printed out a “Christian Dating Guide” that you can take it or leave it. When people are mentally challenged by the games and drained, we usually take a vote on the latest DVD that the majority wants to watch but it can have no rating higher than PG-13. After the movie is when we ask individuals to mingle and get to know at least one new person if this is their first visit. We allow about 2 hours for singles to mingle then we gather for a little soul searching. We ask if anyone wants to give their testimony regarding how they found Jesus-salvation! The groups are so large that so far we have not had only 1 or 2 share their love of God and how he works in their lives but hundreds have shared their personal revelation. Please note that we do not force any religious teachings down anyones throats, but if biblical questions arise, the Deacon along with the group share their thoughts in an open forum. Yes, we have had atheists come to our singles sessions and we always listen to their point of view. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but we do end our time together with a unity prayer of love, and hope that those who choose to deny Christ might someday just practice his teachings which are as solid, thoughtful, and loving as anyone has ever shown the world. If you live in the St. Louis area then e-mail me and I will give you directions to our church. The Dating Guide is something we always share in the soul searching ending of our night. There have been many times that when we meet on a Friday night that we lose track of time and singles are talking with each other until we finally say at 5am Saturday, let’s go home and sleep on the gracious time we have had together. I am very proud to tell you that many unions in marriage have resulted from our relaxed, but monitored sessions. I hope this helps, but if you need more information please let me know exactly what you need.
